On October 3, 2024, the second investment out of five that are part of the project “Modernization of the Local Public Passenger Transport Infrastructure and Increase of Non-Motorized Transport Attractiveness” was completed – “Construction of Bike Lanes, Including Recreational Paths, Along the Argeș River.”
A total of 6.558 kilometers of bike lanes were built along the following routes:
- Basarabiei: 1.369 km
- Petrochimiștilor: 1.221 km
- Lânăriei + Târgu din Vale: 2.024 km
- Argeș River Promenade: 1.944 km
The bike lanes were built using the existing structure of streets and sidewalks, with local repairs.
Electroglobal SA, in collaboration with SELCA SA Pitești, completed the bike lane lighting project in Pitești, Cluj County.
Project Objective
The design and implementation of a modern street lighting solution using fixtures equipped with photovoltaic panels and hybrid functionality, for reduced environmental impact.
Proposed Solution
We implemented Signify SunStay BRP710 LED30 NW MR HY FDIM50 SOLAR lighting fixtures, equipped with solar panels and lithium batteries integrated into a single system. With an impressive efficiency of 175 lm/W, these fixtures provide high-performance lighting.
